Adult Class: Acting & Audition Masterclass Intensive

For Adults 17 and up! Unleash your potential and elevate your acting skills with our Acting & Auditions Masterclass Intensive. Our comprehensive program covers the business of acting, acting & audition techniques and skills to help you refine your craft and boost your confidence. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced actor, our masterclass is tailored to all levels. Day 1: Dive Into the Acting World (Adults and Kids Combined)

This will be a combined class of adults and kids as we demystify the business side of acting. We will cover an array of topics as well answer your questions This session will also be available as a live stream for those whose schedule doesn't allow them to attend Thursday class in person.

Topics include:

• Get the Inside Scoop: Explore the vast acting landscape, from theater to film. Learn the perks of being a local hire and how to snag the best gigs around.

• Headshots That Turn Heads: Discover the secrets to eye-catching headshots and standout portfolios.

Day 2 & 3: Scene Stealing Skills

Days 2 and 3 are all about the work. Everyone will receive a scene that we will work on throughout the workshop (all beginning actors will receive the same scene to work on). We will begin by taping your first scene to give you a feel of being on camera. After that the "work" (or fun as I call it, lol) begins! We will explore various methods and techniques to tap into your emotions, imagination, release tension, get comfortable in front of the camera, learn how to read and analyze the scene, develop character and more!

• First Takes: Everyone gets a scene—show us your raw cut before we polish it up.

• Method to the Madness: We will explore various acting methods to help you find the best way to tap into your emotions and get into "character",

• Free Your Voice and Body: Unlock the power of your physical and vocal expressions through expert-led exercises.

• Camera Ready: Learn the nuts and bolts of working with props, hitting your marks, and making love to the camera.
